  • Not really. This article assumes revenue needs to cover total spend but there will be winners and losers so revenue only needs to cover the winners expenditure which is less than a trillion. It also seems to be using the wrong figure for datacenters. The amount of data center applications isnt the actual amount since they put multiple applications per data center to shop around for good deals.

Also the sheer amount of control you’d get from being the dominant AI provider is worth a lot. Its like YouTube running at a loss for 10 years now google owns TV.

  • Competition to secure critical resources is one of the major driving factors in conflict. So we will probably a lot more wars breaking out and some borders shifting. Especially with the cost of war being lower than ever.

Governments around the world will need to increase taxes and borrow then spend to keep people employed and afloat. A lot of places were in a bad spot before so idk what they’ll do. Im not enjoying living in such interesting times thats for sure.

  • Its viable to write an article about anything theyre dirt cheap to produce. Its less viable to create products for this audience.

I’m in this audience so I’m always looking out for the products that do try and meet these values. They always seem to fail. They spent ages designing and bringing the product to market and then sell like 100 or less units. When the major players release a version thats slightly less shit it has no difference in sales because their consumer audience doesnt think or care about the issue.
