You should always assume you’re getting screwed over without a paper trail, plenty of reasons why that would happen, plain greed not being the last of them.

Not my experience at all. There are well defined processes, you pay 2 bucks to send a letter with delivery guarantees and its done. Yeah, that’s old school and not online, but it works, comes with legal guarantees and has always been absolutely hassle free for me.
That being said, not all EU countries are the same.

An OM-3 or a Lumix GM5 are both absolutely portable, even more so than typical mirrorless bodies. Unfortunately, the OM-3 is a flagship camera, and the GM5 has turned into a collector’s item, so both are expensive.
But did you like it eventually?
I’ll come forward and admit I fucking love mushrooms, and some facts in this book blew my mind. It’s one of my favorite, non-fiction books.
I opened the link and immediately suspected it must be the son of Rupert Sheldrake, brother to Merlin Sheldrake, the mycologist. It was.
Merlin’s book is rather amazing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entangled_Life
Overall, interesting family.
I see a lot of people using restic here. However, restic has no support for object locking. Depending on the backup source, an attack on the storage location itself is probable (e. g. via ransomware).
I think rustic is currently discussing implementing support for object locking, and Kopia has it already.
None of the solutions have had an official audit yet, and at least Kopia defaults to AES-GCM, where I’d really love for an auditor to tell me there are no issues with nonce reuse, but switching to ChaChaPoly-1305 is an option.
If that matters depends a lot on the individual, just something to keep in mind.
Oh no, the homeless?! 😱 Did they staggered while walking and shouted cccooooooiiiiiins, at least in your head?
Good thing you were looking out for that child.
It’s absolutely not. You can take perfectly fine, artsy photographs with a bunch of cheap gels and Chinese import lights.
You’ll be shocked to learn that people took fantastic pictures before an $8.6k M.ZUIKO lens came into existence.
Go ahead and tell me what a setup the likes of what Evans or Miller had at the time would cost today and stop putting art behind a paywall. Stock photography and repeatable product pictures are expensive, but that’s not art.
Professional photographers have expensive equipment because it makes certain shots commercially feasible, not because it’s impossible to create art without money.
I mean, at that point, don’t discuss it in text, but use a scheduling tool that forces people into a framework. If they refuse, they’re just being a dick, but at that point, at least it’s obvious they’re fucking around.
The artist / writer literally mentions their joke in the bonus panel and they’d “die if they stopped being funny”.
The funny part is supposed to be: my wife is single.
I got my full horoscope done in a lounge chair in a club. She brought tables and everything. But my god was she cute.
