Cool dudes

I assume they mean half the system ram because if they hiked it to 1.3x the opening price for half the vram then there’s literally no return on that
Wow, no, it is half the vram. What a pointless turd machine.

How did they ever get this groundbreaking information?!
How’s he wake up as a grown-ass duck?

There’s security guards but nobody’s stopped me going through the gate yet (when it’s closed on me)
I think it relies on you calling someone to help you open the gate

Not the RFID gantries, they’re still there at the exits and toilets…
These are horrible scifi-looking perspex doors which shut you into the checkout area if they think you’re trying to skip paying. You can pull them apart with your hands with a bit of motor resistance but an alarm goes off.

Good. I fucking hate them.
Do the work yourself and then wait ages while the one checkout assistant deals with everyone else’s issues because your checkout is happily accusing you of theft. Bullshit cost saving at the expense of the customer experience.
Don’t even get me started on Asda’s dystopian AI security gates. Want to take your young child for a piss? ACCESS DENIED! Try to open the gate manually? ALARM! ALARM! SOMEONE IS TRYING TO ASSERT THEIR HUMANITY!

I prefer the idea of plug it on and go get lunch and take a piss and have a stretch, rather than have to stand there with it for a few mins and then do all that other stuff.

Definitely to stop their userbase using 3rd party apps and force them to use their godawful ad-hell

Claude, create an innovation which will dwarf what cloud and mobile unlocked. There we go. I’m a bit of an innovator.

As someone who plays live music, the live gig scene is on the up, I think because people are sick of the slop and want assured human connection.
I can see mixed medium performances like Cloud Cult becoming more popular as we move into the AI future.

There we go. Fully their own responsibility, then.

Tf you gotta do to get fired from ICE? Show compassion?

AI has been working on cancer cures for ages and has helped to make great strides in gene and viral therapies as well as helping to quickly triage high risk scans and spot more aggressive cancers earlier in the process. Not LLMs, but AI.

Reading the story it’s not clear who set up the agent. It’s an agent running on OpenAI but it’s not clear whether they’re saying a customer instructed an agent to hack the Australian medical board and got around guardrails to prevent that, or that they’re saying their own internal work agent decided to hack the Australian medical board at random.
In both cases OpenAI has culpability. In the latter case, they should be held fully responsible.

Wait, so there’s not even a hard thermo in it to fail safely? Well done guys, you really saved 10p per unit on that one

You’re bringing back everyone’s favourite free pirated mp3 player as a subscription service… why?
What a load of shite.
If I asked an intern to do something and then review their work is that eroding my ability to work?
