Yea, get yourself checked if that happens.

Technology@lemmy.world•Asus won’t say how it escaped the US router ban / Asus is not publicly committing to US manufacturing.English
9·7 days agoThat’s a given, but I think they are suggesting they added one for the us government.
The issue with conversation view for me is that other people don’t send you a new email for a new subject, they search for a 3 year old unrelated message, then hit reply on that.
They did implement a fix for this, you have to have not deleted their mailbox, and use a powershell command, and you might need some hidden id if you don’t want to delete all of them.
Im sure it’ll only take 6 years for them to add a button in the admin centre, right?

3·13 days agoHad a freezer fixed on warranty recently. What needed replacing? An electric heater. Yes the freezer has a heater in it!
(It’s for the anti frost feature.)
Yea I don’t have this problem, also makes it clear which direction the tape is going.
This is going to be like the notch again right? Marketing hides the crease, everyone is surprised when they get one and there is a crease. Outrage, but then no one cares and continues to use the phone.

2·1 month agoI checked and this does a similar thing. You can use WG to punch out a connection, and I have before. The linked program uses quic in a similar way to WG but doesn’t do any of the routing, just registers the connection to a hostname for application level forwarding.
It looks more that it provides an easy setup for an alternative.
Both methods can work on cg-nat as well since you are punching out.

memes@lemmy.world•Make sure to store it in a cloud-synced folder
2·1 month agoYou mean you don’t write it on a piece of paper then place it in a room that is barricaded from the inside, but still accessible by a securius route through the building filled with environmental puzzles and enemies? The barricade should also be convenient to move from inside the room for fast return to your computer.
I would always mention that key whenever someone did the alt-f4 tirck. Half the time it got the person trying to trick others.

2·2 months agoWe have had success with this on port 443 and it appears to do a good job on networks that only allow browsing. Usual problems with TCP based VPN still apply.

1·2 months agoHonestly so much better when they moved away from the “everything is a floating window” interface. I can find stuff now.

At one point they would tie string to the foot of the person, then connect it to a bell above ground. If they woke up their panic would ring the bell.
