  • You misunderstand. I understand everything you say. And you are correct, in the world in which we currently live as we currently understand it. However, the article and the question in op deals with imagination and fantasy.

To give you an example. If someone were to ask you “what would you do if you had a billion dollars?”. You would probably answer by saying something along the lines of “it is impossible for me to earn a billion dollars because x and y”. But that’s not the answer anyone wants when they ask that question. That’s what you’re doing right now. Not sure if you’re doing it to troll people or because you’re having issues with taking things too literally or some other reason. Either way, I’m done with this “conversation”. Have a nice day.

  • The word “copy” isn’t used in the article nor the op. You continue to engage in bad faith with a simple question instead of just answering it, for some reason. Imagine you could transfer your consciousness into a simulation like in Tron or whatever. That’s what they mean. Not a copy. But your actual self. Or if that’s too hard to accept, just think of a scenario where you’re the copy. You spawn into a world like that. What do you do? Do you play or do you just nope out?

  • The question is “would” not “will”. It’s a conditional and a longer form of the question would’ve been something along the lines of “if it were realistically possible, would you like to live forever in an afterlife such as this?”

For me the answer is yes. I’d like to have the option to kill myself in case I ever get bored or whatever, but I’d still take it even if I had to risk an eternity of insanity.

Are you the personification of “every accusation is a confession” or what? Seriously, insisting you’re right and just throwing insults without any actual arguments does not make you right. The only thing you can argue is that in my first comment I said “russia has always been imperialist”. That can be taken as racist if you ignore the fact that it’s obviously talking about the culture and not the race and also the fact that a country is not a race… and also if it weren’t true.

I literally said in my original comment that blaming it all on putin is silly and have made no comments about race. So yeah, nothing more for me to respond to. You continue to insult without actually saying anything of substance. You’re literally just going like “NO U!!” and pretending like you’re having and argument and winning. Classic ;)

Right, so do the exact same spiel for all the other powers and I’ll agree with you. Because yes, they’re all doing it. But that includes your precious russia and china. I’m sorry…Never said russia’s the only bad guy out there…And most people around here will also agree…but when it comes to russia and china there’s suddenly a bunch of “but what about!” And “LUL libtard!”…

Do you seriously not see the hypocrisy? But yeah, go on, keep insulting me while explaining the continuous imperialistic aggression. Everyone’s hysterical except russia. They’re bombing for freedom, they’re special…NATO made them!!! I’m the chauvinist for hating all imperialists whereas you only hate the western variety. Maybe read the definition of the words your using before going out and using them against people.

I mean, those are all countries from which they have stolen land in the last 30 years. Add to that the proven interference in Moldavian, Romanian, American and French politics and probably others that I don’t know about. Kazahstan, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Japan have land disputes with them… yes, discount all of that by calling me a racist. xD

You’re exactly right! Blaming this all on putin is silly. Everyone with a bit of history knowledge knows that Russia’s always been an imperialist country. Before the invasion of Ukraine there was the annexation of Crimea. Before that it was Georgia, Moldova, Chechnya, all the neocolonialism in Africa. Before that…well…you don’t become the largest country in the world by sitting on your ass… they’ve been doing this constantly since the 16th century or so.

I’m sure you have cheese pizzas and they’re distinct from quattro formaggi. I’m not saying there isn’t. I’m just answering your question. As a non-american, the only pizza with cheese is quattro formaggi. All the others are just “pizza”. Because all the others have tomato sauce + mozzarella as a base. Except supermarket pizzas which sometimes have cheaper cheeses on them. But they’re still just pizza, not “cheese pizza”.

  • Because it’s pedantry. I checked 4 dictionaries for america or american. Or just type “america” on whatever search engine First thing for 3/4 dictionaries was the US or its citizens. If anyone ever means to refer to the continent they usually say north/south America or “the Americas”.

Go to any country other than the US and ask a local “Are you american?”. They’re all gonna say the same thing. “No, I’m Mexican/Canadian/Chilean/etc.”

Whenever a word has multiple meanings, you’re supposed to use context to figure out which one is being used. Well, the article title mentions the US government. It’s also a very common phrase with a well established meaning. Check out Green day’s american idiot, for example.

Really doesn’t take a genius to understand what op meant.
