Yeah I don’t want to know why you want to work here. It sounds mean until you have to read, I didn’t, a bunch of them. Overall if it makes sense and doesn’t sound too exaggerated then it’s probably good enough. The references thing is annoying as well. Like I have really good references but are you going to download signal and contact people overseas? Lol

I find cover letters and resumes to be useless. Really a waste of everyone’s time like the whole hiring process.

I only had to deal with this when I worked as a government contractor. Sometimes it went like “I did so and so and these kind of tasks” OK, I don’t really care. You’re going to be doing postal service on base. “I graduated from here with a masters” I don’t give a shit. “These are my references” I didn’t ask, but thanks for wasting my time, I’m not calling them, I’m going to run a background check on you anyway.

All I cared about is if your S/TS clearance was still valid and that you’re not annoying. Bonus points if asked why do you want to work here and the answer is money, though you might get some extra attention from the FSO for a while.

  • I have to say when the infamous Tucker Carlson and Shawn Ryan, spec ops guy, start saying what the public is thinking and start admitting their mistakes of who they endorsed and the error of their ways… then I think yeah we’re fucked.

I really liked Shawn Ryan’s interviews because he definitely has that read the room personality and matches it. It’s interesting to see him actually talk about what he actually thinks. In some of his recent videos he straight up said that yeah we’ve been lied to and everything is a scam. I think it shows how vulnerable we are as a society. We want to believe what these politicians are saying their going to do and in reality they don’t do anything or make it worse.

  • I know you have good intentions but I would say the US needs drop in hybrid motors to convert older vehicles. I can’t afford a new car for the next 10-20 years even if I sold both of my cars.

I’d rather have a multi-fuel hybrid for emergencies; something that can run petrol, oil, diesel, ethanol, propane, kerosene, and wood gas. There are times where something like that is needed. Like powering a fridge and AC when a disaster takes out the power grid. I can tell you it wasn’t fun not having power for two weeks. I really liked the EV car idea of powering your house but what happens after you drain the battery? And look I live in a place that’s dumb enough when the power goes out, there’s a mandatory shutoff box for your solar panels in these events.
