Brown and native born, every day I have to numb myself to how badly I want to leave, but have no real plans for where to go

Thank you, I like what you did with it

Seconding the recommendation for LocalSend!

WAS the greatest farce Now we have LLM’s taking that spot, ironically to do the exact same thing

Which of course ends up being a boon for said underground artists to actually get a chance to spread via word-of-mouth. Can’t have someone actually have success and creative freedom, no sir!

The justice system will continue to be two-tiered until the ruling class decides that they want to stop being corrupt, sorry

So, yes
If giant, robotic squids start warping into the sky we’re going to be in serious trouble!

Still no Aether in vanilla… 😞

Truly the most perverse aspect of Capitalism is how morality itself becomes its own commodity!

I browse the Steam Store images-first, like you do. I would guess that is a generational habit, though and anyone older or younger probably favors the gameplay videos over looking at screenshots because they weren’t conditioned by the early Internet days where watching any video online was a serious commitment

That’s the gritty, mid-2010’s reboot that was just called “Ape Quest”

This is the one underlying factor that has killed any respect I used to have for my country’s copyright laws. Ideally I would want the creative talent to get ownership of their work and all the legal protection that would entitle them to, but we’re already seeing how the laws are being flaunted for the sake of these AI chuds openly practicing the sort of “piracy” that people who are only sharing their files with no real profit incentives take the heat for

Unfortunately, if the cruelty of the (engineered) computer memory crisis is anything to go by, it might be exactly like your example with toilet paper. McDonald’s could decide that it’s more profitable for them to do some kind of catering model and price the average individual consumer out of relevance

This is the one aspect of “Tech” that is turning me from an enthusiast into an honest Luddite. Our systems of regulation are so weak and ineffective at catching up to these sorts of exploitative practices and by design that I don’t see much being done to help people get ahead of this
Those people are also overwhelmingly in political power across the Western World right now
