I found it interesting that education is increasingly shifting from simply asking “Who wrote this?” to asking “Does the student understand this?”

I don’t think this framing is quite accurate. Before AI, the final paper’s quality was the metric for “did the student understand this”. With AI tools, that metric disappeared, and educators are now looking for a replacement heuristic.

What really seals it is the ‘angry’ version, which is just the same message again but with different formatting. No human would label that as “the angry version” without the inclusion of at least one “fucking”.

The quality of the search depends on which app you use and how it prioritizes search results, right? I know this is a bit of a tired argument, bit since CoMaps is open-source, you could submit a patch, or at least a bug report.

I’ve encountered the same behaviour on Google Maps on occasion, too.
