  • This might be why. Specifically that last part about luring Nazis with pretence of “romantic encounters” to the woods, to be shot.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freddie_Oversteegen

Oversteegen, her sister, and friend Hannie Schaft worked to sabotage the Nazi military presence in the Netherlands.[5] They used dynamite to disable bridges and railroad tracks.[6] They also smuggled Jewish children out of the country or helped them escape concentration camps.[2]

The Oversteegens and Schaft also killed German soldiers, with Freddie being the first of the girls to kill a soldier by shooting him while riding her bicycle.[1][5] They also lured soldiers to the woods under the pretense of a romantic overture and then killed them.[1][5] Oversteegen would approach the soldiers in taverns and bars and ask them to “go for a stroll” in the forest.[2][5]

  • It does seem less though.

Like for instance I recently posted a project im working on. Electronic and program project board. (Raspberry pi project).

And I really am a novice, trying to figure things out.

AND. I posted a video explaining the project with drawings and such. So it was obvious I’m a woman.

And guess what? I actually got a few upvotes and a few helpful comments.

No one called me a dumb bitch. No one told me to fuck off.

My post didn’t get downvoted into oblivion because I’m a newb. Or God forbid, a woman doing computer things. Which is forbidden because misogyny.

It was quite refreshing and unexpected.

I mean machine learning has been and is currently being used in science research.

    It has its value there.

Don’t need big data centers for it. It can be done locally on computers with decent hardware.

Ai (and the data centers they require) that are being used to make knock off art and slop , and mass survey and manipulate the public is definitely not needed.

A lot of pro AI arguments are that “it could cure cancer”. But not really. And although machine learning and statistic calculations are used in scientific research, including cancer research, these things are done locally. Not through data centers. Not through big companies.

A lot of researchers use a program called “R”. It’s a statistical software that can be programmed to do anything really. Including machine learning. And it’s open source.

So we already have the “AI” tools for research. OpenAi, palantir, or any of those other companies do not offer better options to R. They like to pretend they could magically solve so many problems. If they wanted. If they only had more money. More data centers.

But the truth is they couldn’t. If ai could solve these things at the snap of the fingers, it would have already happened because scientists have been using sophisticated statistics in research for literally half a century at this point.

And have had the hardware to run highly sophisticated stats for at least 20 years.

Every time I see a video of a jacked woman showing off, and like most of the dudes standing around are frowning… there is always at least one dude. Sometimes two. Who are literally falling so hard with a look of absolute everything across their faces.

Love at first chin up does exist.

  • That’s the box.

"Handcrafted from solid pine wood, finished with beeswax oil, lined in deep green velvet, and fitted with a faux gator-skin leather carrying strap with gold hardware,” the listing adds, “each box features custom engraved details and is exclusively numbered 1/500, making this an essential piece of art for the hive.”

Fyi. Pine wood is like the cheapest wood that exists.
Secondly. It uses pleather labeled as “faux leather”. Aka vinyl.

    Engraved with a cnc machine.

    Looks glued together.

Wow. If you want a fancy box buy one from an artisan off Etsy or in real life or something.

  • If your camera can’t connect to the internet, the images on it can’t be stolen. Same for editing software.

Surely there are ways to block software from sending copies of your photographs to their servers.

Not using cloud services is probably the easiest way to keep them from stealing your images.

Most cloud services say in the terms and services that you agree for them to have ownership of your files you upload. So just don’t use cloud services.

Even though solid state hard drives have doubled in prices, you can still find the hard drive disk drives that are decent prices.

I just got a Seagate 4tb for $200. Store all your stuff on your drive. And don’t use windows. Because they steal everything you have up on your monitor. They literally take screenshots.

You can try turning off WiFi while you edit photos. Idk if that will fix it or not. Ask someone who would know if that does anything. Maybe it just sends it all once it connects. ?
