So we were all worried about securing the border but uh maybe we should be doing more to secure “the most powerful military in the world”?

There’s a word for false facts: falsehoods.
People should not even say false facts it makes them seem like facts can be opinion oriented.
Falsehoods call them out as what they are: lies.

Hey I didn’t say it would be easy, you’re right there’s a ton it’s doing.
Rebuilding what it’s doing though wouldn’t take 30 years, they’ve figured out the requirements which means a startup can start fresh and build something even cleaner that works full on premise but seamlessly leverages cloud services if you want them for backup / recovery situations in the event that your on premise systems have a failure.
I don’t know anyone working on this but the fact that it would be hard means it’s actually not easily replicable and would be a good business for a startup to capture. The value prop is high for companies, if they could save a huge amount of money on licensing and get improved operational cost without sacrificing what they get from on premise it would be worth it.
It would definitely be hard to get companies to switch but the potential savings and country independence parts might be enough to make them interested in paying the switching costs.

Sounds like there’s a startup opportunity here.

Windows is basically a zombie OS at this point, shambling along and eating brains.

Pretty sure nvidia bought hugging face to shut them up

I think popos definitely deserves mention here. Cosmic has come a long way in a short time and the nvidia support is really helpful.

Anyone who knows anything connected to Trump it’s that he always looks to screw everyone over, especially those most loyal to him. He loved to prove people are suckers, like he gets off on this.
I hope this just increases the number of people that realize it, I don’t hope too hard, but I have hope…

They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot…

I think their general mindset is that everything is for them so of course more scrolling because it’s more for them!

Hahahahaha this is perfect I love you.

Boomers are definitely weak against AI slop.
I have one parent that’s silent generation and one that’s boomer and the silent generation parent is way more functional on this than the boomer.
Something about that generation made them pretty unprepared for life.

They think it’s worth it to scare employees and suppress wages.
Even if it costs more to fix the mistakes it might actually be cheaper if people don’t win wage increases and layoffs continue.
I’m not saying this will work but it seems to be at least part of the logic.

This god is going to care about its worshippers about as much as the previous gods humanity has come up with.
I immediately scrolled and read in less than 5 seconds, then I realized this didn’t way which 5 seconds was taken…

This is an snl thing waiting to happen

Dear humanity,
Consider maybe not.
Thanks,

Yes I sell eggs locally but they are mostly pets and they also are great food scrap recyclers.
I don’t have 100 now, they only naturally live 5-6 year I keep a flock of 30-40 going to get enough eggs for my family and then sell them for $5 a dozen to anyone who can pick up at my farm
Chickens are so cute and they are quite intelligent and they’re really fun to work with
I loved this game, I couldn’t put it down from start to finish, I explored lots of books and crannies, became a power fantasy vampire, killed the vassals, and had a great time. I would highly recommend this game as one of the best vampire games ever made.
That said, after beating it I uninstalled it and know I won’t be playing it again. It was perfect for what it was, but the end game had nothing left. Frankly I like that a game like this can still happen, it’s a fantastic single player game not a lifestyle game.
For anyone like me, definitely worth the money.
Oh also huge props to it working out of the box great on Linux with a 4080!
October is the surprise!
