Pretty sure it’s horse’s choir.
Just forget the contraction and right “should have”. When pronounced correctly it sounds nothing like ‘of’.
I wouldn’t guess that at all.
I often see ‘mute point’ for ‘moot point’
Those are the same people that write “squeal” queries to get results out of a database.

4·15 days agoIn the 70’s when gas broke $1.00 per gallon and most pumps couldn’t handle it, they just set the pumps to half the price and charged double that when you went in to pay. Pump would say $5 and you paid $10. That would be a lot harder today since rarely are people paying inside.

By holiday do you mean strictly vacation or does that include holiday days like Christmas and new years?
Some employers do PTO others do separate vacation and sick. Generally I just count the combined days off – vacation, sick, and holidays when making a decision on an offer.
I had one job where they switched to the unlimited PTO scam.
It depends on a lot of factors. For software development I’ve had anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks per year. One job was 4 weeks of PTO (includes sick time) and they only had 6 holiday days per year. That job sucked.
Since they said PTO, ili would expect that sick and vacation come out of the same pool.
I too write in the notes “this is a notification, not a request”. It obviously depends on the type of job you have but I’ve never gotten flak for it.

13·1 month agoGoogle maps does that as well. I was at Grand Teton and heading to my next camp site. 56 miles, 2.5 hours. That seems a bit low on speed. Checked closer, and yep it wanted me to take my van on a pretty rough logging road. I rerouted through Jackson WY.

Mmmm. Vegetable oil and wax.
