And they will only lose once we’re properly armed and organized.

Personally I want Elon to get Gaddafi’d. Seems like a fitting end. Though I’m not super picky in how he bites it, just that he does.
A thing that I often feel with pizzacake comics is that the message needs to be there regardless of wether or not we think the comics are funny.
It’s propaganda you agree with. That’s not a dig, mind you, it’s propaganda I agree with as well. A lot of intelligent people fail their wisdom checks when they hear something like that because they feel that all propaganda is wrong.
However, it’s just a tool. A necessary one at that. Because if we’re not filling the media sphere with anti-nazi, anti-right-winged propaganda, then Nazi’s fill the space with theirs. It also improves morale, and steels the resolve of those that are also anti-nazi and anti-fascist. And encourages others to stand up and fight with both pen and weapon.
Really, no different than Donald Duck fighting in WW2.
If there is, just add a splash of red with a bang.

2·1 month agoRepublicans have always been evil, that’s why that’s been a pretty easy joke in a lot of media for decades. Republicans are demons, and its best we treat them that way in all aspects.

3·1 month agoOkay, so let’s bring the end times to the Republicans. Since they want to die so badly, I’m happy to oblige.
You heard them, we can now bring about their end without worrying about it. They consented.
I’m with you on that. Anime has to have dubtitles if I’m putting them on there. Thankfully you can find those pretty easily these days if you need to.

Technology@lemmy.world•Linus Torvalds used AI to fix a Linux bug, and now LLM critics on Linux face an uncomfortable choiceEnglish
2·1 month agoOh I bet. I’m not multi-lingual, unless you count body language :p. Learning English was hard enough as a kid. When I was talking about spoken languages I was refer to random comments online, and sometimes not fully translated games to help get the gist of what’s going on.
For professional work, I prefer to hire an expert.

11·1 month agoSure, but for me its just faster to write it myself, in a way that needs to fit into the project. And while I’m aware you can give this context to an LLM, it still can’t read what your previous intentions were, nor what they are currently. So its hard for it to build on it.
To me they’re best as auto-complete, or research tools in the same vein as StackOverflow. Something to help speed up your existing workflow. Also good at translating both spoken languages, and functions into other coding languages. Everything else seems to get in the way for me.

42·1 month agoYeah I’ve been using LLM’s in Rider for over a decade. I don’t have a problem with LLM’s. I do have a problem with how they’re currently used, and how people keep trying to use them to replace their own thinking.
I think they have a place in the coding scene, a limited niche place, but a place none the less. They just aren’t a replacement for software engineers. Architecture and intention are the big differences to me. An LLM cannot understand intention, it just makes statistical guesses that are often wrong.

And the only answer I can come up with is, “By ending the life”.

News@lemmy.world•Farmer ordered to destroy his orchard after giving away free fruit
2·1 month agoI do, and it’s an unfortunate side effect. But it’s one that will happen no matter what if things continue as they are. Keep in mind that this system is killing working class folks in various ways. From death due to low wages and thus starvation/homelessness/overwork, death from fraud such as health insurance denying life saving care or suicide from being in so much pain. Then of course you have Flock creating the basis for open air slave pens, and concentration camps to go along with them. Then of course there is the damage to the planet that the system has upheld that is likely to kill an untold amount of people due to crop failures, heat, our main tradewind dying.
All while pedophiles run the world and abscond with our children.
At what point do we start to excise the disease even if some healthy tissue has to be extracted with it?

5·1 month agoIt requires execution. Judges prop up this system and feel they are immune for their judgements. They shouldn’t be, and honestly should be among the first targeted to show that no one is above getting guillotined.
