Plenty of black people are sympathetic towards socialism and treating them as a monolith is actually very racist of you.
Except Tehran doesn’t have to win. All it has to do is not lose and Tehran is definitely winning in that regard. The US has far more at stake with how many diplomatic and trade relations took permanent damage because of this war.
Tehran will have the last laugh regardless of the outcome.
