So…what’s the name?

What the hell does that have to do with anything? It is trivial to tow a standard car to my home and effect those repairs almost immediately. Just order the parts.
What about the EV? None of the above can easily be done.

My fears are software/firmware issues or battery pack failure. It’s an impossible problem for the common man to solve and you are beholden to the manufacturer. And at what cost? Minor accident? Manufacturer declares it unfixable and deactivates it. Doesn’t even matter if you repair it. Boo!
I really want one, but I can still repair my current car myself if needed.

I’ve heard and told this one for years, but use “taste” instead of smell. Makes the joke a bit sillier.
These are more anti-jokes rather than dad-jokes, but they do work as such. Here’s another anti-joke:
What’s red and bad for your teeth?
A brick. 😁
Why did Snoop Dogg have a frying pan?
Fo sizzle.
Why did he have an umbrella?
Fo drizzle.
Happy Birthday, Mrs FauxPseudo!

IKR? I was accused of that, but it was honestly unintentional even if the results were not entirely undesirable…
Laundry go in machine come out wet. Put in next machine, come out dry. It was a while ago and I have since learned there is nuance with fabrics/temps/hang dry, etc. I still do just my own laundry as the lesson is not forgotten, but I am also approved for general sheets and towels duty. You do what you will with the original information!

All I had to do was ruin a few articles of her clothing and I was off the job. I was truly trying to be helpful, but the blowback was real. I still do my own, however.

I once met a hooker who said “I’ll do anything for 50 dollars”. I replied, “Paint my house.”
I gave her a paint bucket and told her to start with the porch.
She came back about an hour later and said “All done!”.
I said, “Wow, that was fast.”
She said, “Yeah, I’m getting pretty good at this. Oh and by the way, that’s not a porch, it’s a Mercedes.”

Thanks for the clarification!

Montreal. Go Canada!!

I’ve worked around them too. They are no joke. Anyone who frequented them knew the score.

I don’t think Halon has been allowed for use in several decades.
BTW: You called it the “good type”. Yes, it was very good at fire suppression because Halon breaks apart the oxygen molecules that fires use for fuel. Unfortunately, humans need it too and it had extinguished a few of those as well. That’s why it’s out of use.

As if that wouldn’t disrupt operations? It very much would.

Smoking the Devil’s lettuce? GTFO. Into fucking dogs? You’re hired!

Dang, I had other ideas!
