  • Hey hey hey,

    They stand up against unions

They stand up against cheap, green energy

They stand up against human rights

They stand up against good working conditions

They stand up against good and affordable medical care

They stand up against required paid sick leave and maternity leave

They stand up against regulations to not poison people or exploit people quite so much

They stand up against anything that might slightly hurt short term profits.

They pump tens or hundreds of billions at the government to “stand up to them”. Just always, without exception, to pommel the working class and long term into the ground and sacrifice the long term for short term superficial gains.

  • Depends. Here in the EU even Aldi sells linen and >90% cotton clothes sometimes. Some of my best short sleeve linen button down shirts for summer were 10€ at Aldi

H&M, C&A, etc… All also sell cotton and linen for just a bit more than their polyester.

I don’t know about america, maybe you have to search it out more, but you definitely would have to go to actual clothing stores and not target, Walmart, etc… They definitely sell them though. I mean, jeans are not polyester and everyone can buy jeans everywhere it seems. Also linen and cotton lasts longer than polyester clothes.

Just a warning though. Aluminum antiperspirants can cause skin irritation and absolutely cause aluminum salt stains on clothes (bright yellow pits on white shirts).

Also there is a correlation link between aluminum levels and Alzheimer’s, but nobody had proved causation so it may be an unrelated coincidence.

Easier just to shower, scrub well, and use deoderant. That is usually enough for the average person, just not heavy sweating people or people in very hot environments.

PSA: Also wash your clothes (without fabric softener) and stop buying polyester. Much of the “BO stink” is from sweating in polyester clothes and not washing them for a few more wears. Plastic doesn’t absorb and dry out the bacteria so it is much much worse than cotton, linen, or wool. Also use vinegar as fabric softener, it doesn’t smell after the final rinse cycle and it doesn’t leave a waxy film on your clothes that keeps the bacteria nice and comfortable like formula softener.

  • Claude directly has over 1100000 lines of direct code contribution. It has pretty much the same amount of code committed directly as the creator has.

His entire coding history before Claude consisted of changing readmes or searching and replacing project name text or modifying a dead link to his own link.

Suddenly in 4 months, without ever producing actual code before, he becomes a very competent coder enough to tackle mCAD, a notoriously difficult coding task that takes many many years with teams to make meaningful progress on?

    That is vibe coding.

And his co-contributer “gianlucafiore” is exactly the same story. Has literally only made issues until LLM coding got released and then late 2025 (December) switched to making commits that he badly copied from an LLM such that some of the commits are literally one full line (as direct in-file working of the LLM wasn’t as accessible then)

    That is vibe coding.

So the top 3 contributes are

    1. An LLM
    2. Someone that only has committed any code via an LLM
    3. Someone who has only made issues before beginning with an LLM and submits clearly generated code

There is likely no human-made code in the entire project besides changing a couple links.
