From the man with a complete lack of intelligence.

the LOD being the minimum even though I am standing on the ground
This is why I didn’t finish it. Weirdest thing about this bug? It bakes into the save. Seems to be hardware dependent, too, I only saw a few other reports of it and they were all on AMD cards from what I could tell.
I looked it up and asked about it, and the community consensus? “It’s not a bug, your hardware is too weak!” Yeah, okay, I’ll just go play some fucking RoboCop Rogue City.

I’ve been on Summit for a bit, but it doesn’t seem to have push notifications, or if it does I can’t make them work, so I’m thinking about switching back to Boost. I prefer the appearance of Summit, though.

Now if they just add compatibility tool and prefix selection to it, they’ll have a fully functional Linux client.

Believe me, if I could afford them, I would. I can manage the flu shot probably.

Yep, it’s kind of a racket. The license popup is there to let people know that, hey, technically you have to buy this… but they don’t care if Joe Blow buys it, it’s free for you, you single-serve mother fucker. A company, though? A company has to buy a copy for every user, and that adds up.

it cost $20 to join?! I’m out
Yep, I can’t spend the money now, which is probably true for a lot of people, and I’m definitely gonna forget this is a thing by the time it’s free or I have the money, which is probably true for a lot of people.
$30!? I looked into one and it’s fucking $300. Man, fuck America.

Nah, we got a literary dystopia, just not one where everything is destroyed like your examples. We got the gilded cyberpunk future where everyone is tracked, privacy is dead and the lower class is held down by force. The biggest difference we have these days is that we went more heavy on AI than robotics, and the skies are a bit clearer.
As someone who just recently got one of these and loves it, this looks super neat, but I don’t think I’d give up playing Genesis, SNES and PS1 games for it.
