This was two day old bread. I never use fresh bread for French toast.

Here is the same loaf of bread the day before when it was 24 hours old.

Cook beans. Add some fat and seasoning. Mush them up over heat. They really aren’t fried or even twice fried, that’s just what we call them. The process is more like larding or confet than it is frying.

I’m not used to seeing Indian chicken dishes with whole breast of chicken. I like it but it seems weird to me. Usually they cut everything up.

I haven’t checked. I’m not licensed by the guild so I’m not limited by their rules.

As far as I know French toast is as French as French fries.

I let it get up to room temperature after I added salt and pepper and I put a little bit of oil in the pan.

I didn’t start it. It was here when I got here. After posting for a bit I was asked if I wanted to be a mod.

I have started a few and that part is pretty easy. The hard part is supplying content getting people to see it when it’s at “1” and there are no subscribers so The only people that find it are people that browse by new or get to the end of the world.

I don’t know how one gets leftover ramen broth but using it for beans sounds tasty. Maybe I should add some MSG to my beans.

I’m anticipating a lot of beans and rice.

True that. Sometimes I get the urge to make a loaf not even knowing what I’ll do with it. Just rummage through the leftovers and see what I can use to make it a meal. I baked a loaf today with the idea of French toast tomorrow.
