“i went through it and turned out fine. If you went through it and became traumatized, it means you were weak. And I’m not weak, so I wasn’t traumatized”
Tale as old as time.
Idk where you got the idea that it is the people who want this bullshit. Literally everywhere you see this kind of censorship, people are complaining that it’s there.
It’s fucking corporate run spaces and their AI moderation that will stifle the reach of posts or just straight up remove them if they don’t follow the arbitrary censorship rules that is forcing content creators to self censor themselves in order to have their posts be visible on the major social media platforms.

Then suck at it. Make bad art. Art isn’t a competition. So, who cares if it is bad?

Also, the point of tech is to free people from needing to toil at bullshit jobs so they can pursue their actual passions.
Unfortunately, we live in capitalism that insists people must toil to “earn” their right to live, which completely negates the benefits of tech that frees people from toiling, because that toil is how most people make a wage.

Uh you can pay in cash at the self checkout as well? I’ve never had an issue doing so.

I personally love self checkout. The option for the five finger discount is such a great benefit.

Great, as if finding quality mods wasn’t hard enough now we are gonna have to wade through a sea of slop.

God fucking damnit.

Oh shit mine is still good but the update has already downloaded. Hasn’t installed yet though. I might be able to save it.

Nope. You’re right. I’m stupid. Zero Dawn is the first game. Forbidden West is the second Horizon game. I flipped which was which.

Do people really look at the videos on Steam? I always immediately click past them to look at the images.
I watch them for any gameplay footage.

Which wouldn’t even make sense considering “Zero Dawn” in context of the Horizon series is that it is a specific canonical event that is only discussed in the second game. The first game didn’t have any notion of the Zero Dawn event afaik.
Ignore everything I’m an idiot who forgot which title came first.

Tip for anyone with stainless steel ones: DO NOT USE BLEACH. It reacts with the outer coating on the steel and corrodes it, which creates micro-cavities where mold can sequester.

Planning ahead usually allows one to do more with less. That’s the point of planning ahead.
Lol wild accusation. I never wished you dead mate. You’re a random nobody to me. I’d have to actually give a shit first before I wished anyone dead.
Bitter, jaded people like you are so sad. I hope you find peace eventually.
Bud, dates and moving in together are not prerequisites for love. I swear, some people got a messed up idea of love.
If you have to wait for love to be “proven” genuine then you got some major issues with relationships.
Love freely and love openly. The rest doesn’t matter.

The fact we live in late stage capitalism and have our time eaten up by forced toil just makes it that much more important that we learn to plan ahead.
Because the minds of the owning class that run these companies are twisted and only care about the Almighty Profit Incentive™
They don’t care if their products are harming people because they don’t care about you, the consumer, after you’ve bought the product. They got their profit out of you. Any bad press about it can be minimized with marketing campaigns to obscure the facts from the general, uninformed public. Prime example of this is Big Tobacco’s efforts over the decades to hide the harmful effects of smoking before they could no longer keep a lid on it.
The censorship nonsense is surrounded by arbitrary, prudish culture bullshit which ad companies care about because they want to be able to market to the widest available audience, so they don’t want to purchase ad space with platforms that permit anything controversial, thus platforms which rely on ad revenue for profit choose to enforce censorship so that those ad companies will choose to buy their ad space.
When asking “why do companies do [X]” it is always about profit.
