      In captivity, yes. In their natural habitat, no.

      Basically every issue regarding the survival of pandas is human created. They did just fine before their habitat was destroyed.

        So then why not rebuild their habitat? It’s not like China is running out of money or land anytime soon!

          Wild pandas appear to have hit a low in the 1980s and have since been to recover do it just that. It’s just going to take a long time. In the 80s we were down to apparently around 1100 in the wild, now there are around 1900.

          So if people remember to not be dicks I assume wild pandas will be fine again someday
