That would have immediately remedied the awful console name. Like honestly, still cannot get over it being called “switch”. How do you go from GameCube, Wii, Wii-U, to just a plain stupid switch? Lame!

…it’s “Switch” because it goes from being on your TV to being portable. Even the logo and the sound are reminders that it “switches” between different ways of playing.

switch is a thousand times better than Wii/Wii-U.

Which was so confusing it wasnt until like, this year that i found out the Wii-U was a separate console and not just a tablet you bought to use with your wii.

Lol I only found out when the Wii U was at the end of its lifecycle and a host of a podcast I listened to was like “it’s no wonder — so many people think it’s just a tablet for the Wii.” I was like it isn’t?!

I’ve never had someone tell me that they owned one, which is insane considering how popular the Wii was. Talk about marketing failure.

Wii-U just sounds dumb cuz they gave no thought. Wii was a headscratcher but I didn’t have it mapped to anything IRL that I would confuse it with. #ForeverAlone
