If we have to accept voting as a useful tool, then violence must also be accepted as a useful tool. Either all tools are used or we’re free to cherry pick without people getting upset at what we choose to not use.

Even my nearly 70 year old father hates it. Not because he’s pro-paying artists or concerned about the environment (although it plays a part cause he loves his animals and nature), but because of how tacky it looks and how much the rich are profiting from it.

2·23 days agoCurrently I wanna say Retro Rewind. First time really getting into one of these business management games and I can’t stop thinking of all the ways I wanna improve my store.
I buy a new one when my current one is having so many problems it’s hard to ignore. I didn’t get a smartphone till 2020. Before then it was cheap pay-as-you-go phones. That phone was a moto g power and I had it till last year when it was getting to be too slow and the screen shattered when dropping it on my way out of work. I got a pixel 10 since my phone plan gave a massive discount on it.
I love the Talking Heads song, Heaven, which just describes Heaven as the most boring place anyone could possibly be at cause everything being completely perfect all the time is boring and uninteresting.

2·1 month agoAsked my nephew who joined the Marines about this. He said this is a “hot tray”. Basically just leftovers for the people that couldn’t make it to meal time for various reasons (his example was 2 people who had to guard their gear while everyone else eats) so they make a tray of whatever is available for them when they’re allowed to go eat.
I’ve been enjoying staying away from fandoms. It’s funny when I really get into a series/franchise then like several months later I’ll watch a video from a YouTuber I like and they’ll just casually throw out how the fanbase for that thing is ultra toxic/annoying and/or filled with the biggest creeps imaginable.
Good boomer humor

I never advocate to not vote. I’m a heavy advocate for voting, but voting for the best candidate at every level no matter their party affiliation, including third parties. I’m just tired of “leftists” saying that our only options are voting and protests. Whenever someone brings up getting violent, they’re laughed at or told it’s not viable. That we shouldn’t murder Nazis, including politicians on all sides and cops/ICE, cause that’s bad. That if you’re going to attempt it, don’t link yourself to any leftist movement cause it’ll make us look bad.
